About Us:

Queen’s Theatre Hornchurch is a vibrant regional theatre with a rich heritage, working in Outer East London, Essex and beyond. As the cultural hub of the region, over 200,000 people enjoy the programme each year, including the best in homegrown theatre, visiting live entertainment and inspiring Learning and Participation projects. Behind the scenes, sets and costumes are lovingly created on-site by a highly skilled carpentry workshop, scenic artists, prop makers and wardrobe team. Audiences are guaranteed a warm welcome from a winner of UK Theatre’s Most Welcoming Theatre 2016 and 2017.

The Queen’s Theatre is located in the centre of Hornchurch (next to Sainsbury’s).

Booking

You can book your tickets online .

  • Select the show you want to book in the What’s On section

  • Then click Book Now

  • You can choose where you want to sit from the seating plan and make secure credit/debit card payments

We accept all major credit and debit cards except American Express. A handling charge of £1 is payable for all transactions except for events which are within 7 days of the date of purchase.

The Queen’s Theatre Hornchurch only sells tickets through its own Box Office and doesn’t use discount ticket sites.

Parking:

You’ll find the entrance to Billet Lane car park (7 blue badge bays) on Theatre Road, these are free for TAX Exempt Blue Badge Holders. The entrance has a height restriction of 6′ 6″ (feet/inches). Additionally, there are three allocated parking spaces for blue badge holders at the front of the building (no charge) with a lowered kerb point to allow wheelchair access to the pavement.

Food & Drink

The Q Bar

The bar is located between the Foyer Stage and the auditorium. It’s a delightfully intimate place to hang out and chat.

​

The corner café offers a wide selection of drinks, hot meals, and snacks:

​

  • home cooked daily specials and hot breakfasts – throughout the day

  • freshly made sandwiches, baguettes and paninis

  • jacket potatoes with a range of fillings

  • selection of desserts, cakes and pastries

  • tea for one, two or more

  • freshly ground coffee, cappuccino and espresso

  • fully stocked bar of wines, beers and spirits
